Australia Day 2025

Australia Day at the Broadford and District Historical Society was a vibrant celebration, drawing visitors from near and far to explore the display and reconnect with friends. The 2025 exhibition proudly highlighted the Broadford Shire’s achievements, including prestigious awards such as Victoria’s Tidiest Town, offering a snapshot of the community’s pride and dedication.

A highlight of the day was the recently donated Broadford banner, which drew plenty of attention. BDHS member and volunteer Allan Stute couldn’t resist having his photo taken alongside it, capturing a moment of local pride. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, volunteers Sandra, Audrey, and Pam enjoyed a well-earned break from preparing the Society’s beloved Devonshire Teas, ensuring everyone could enjoy a taste of hospitality along with history.
